100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Foundation Powder Review

100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Foundation Powder Review

Hi everyone! This is my second time using a all-natural foundation powder but prior to using green beauty products. I always went for foundation powders instead of liquid or cream foundations since I prefer the lightweight feeling of powders. Before using the 100% Pure Foundation Powder, I was using the W3ll People Altruist Mineral Foundation but I didn't like it at all so I needed to find a better option.

I was super excited to get the 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Foundation Powder since it's pressed! Most all-natural foundation powders are loose and messy, but not this one! My shade is Warm Peach, which is a light/medium shade with warm undertones. For reference, my go-to conventional powder foundation was the Make Up Forever Pro Finish Muti-Use Powder in the shade 117 Golden Ivory.

Sun Screen Active Ingredients: 12% Titanium Dioxide, 7% Zinc Oxide * Certified Organic ** Component of Natural Essential Oil
  • It's fruit pigmented so there are no artificial dyes!
  • Contains SPF
  • Extremely clean ingredients
  • Smooth
  • Looks like skin
  • Easy to blend
  • Nonchalky/nonpowdery
  • Pressed
  • Decent wear time on the skin
  • Only provides light to barely medium coverage (keep in mind that I use this as a foundation, so I only wear moisturizer and SPF underneath)
  • The more powder applied, the cakier it gets
  • Packaging could be better, it's a bit difficult to open and close the lid and it feels a bit cheap
  • Poor oil control (I have an extremely oily T-zone area)
Overall, I can live without this powder foundation since it doesn't control my oil well and doesn't provide the coverage I want. I think those who have dry to normal skin and use a tinted moisturizer, BB cream, or foundation would enjoy using this powder to provide a little more coverage and to set their makeup.

P.S. I obviously hit pan on the product and am not currently using it anymore. And yes, I found a new powder foundation that I love now so stay tuned to read about it! Pictured below, I'm wearing the foundation powder in Warm Peach, I hope that helps you determine if Warm Peach is the shade for you!
