Lily Lolo Laid Bare Eye Palette Review
Pros
- Organic ingredients
- Carmine free
- Buildable color
- It's pressed eyeshadows (majority of green beauty eyeshadows come in loose powder form)
- The texture is really smooth and creamy!
- The colors are perfect for everyday use
- Lasts throughout the day (I use it on top of Tarte's eyeshadow primer)
- Sleek, minimal packaging
- Affordable, $34 for 8 colors
- The darker colors are sheer
- The colors labeled as "shimmer" are actually a pearl finish
- Stark Naked – Matte, nude pinky beige
- Au Naturel – Shimmer, pink nude
- Skinny Dip – Shimmer, golden beige (perfect wash of color on the lids)
- Shy Away – Shimmer, smoky taupe (I use this one a lot, too)
- Lady Godiva – Shimmer, rich gold (seriously my favorite color in the palette because I just love orange colors)
- Birthday Suit – Matte, grey brown
- Exhibitionist – Matte, olive brown
- Exposed – Demi-matte, charcoal
The colors are beautiful and I like how there are pearl finishes and matte finishes. I wish the darker colors were more opaque and that the "shimmer" colors were actually shimmer, but I still enjoy using this palette and find myself reaching for it often.
