Honey Belle Haul & Review
Ingredients: Organic Cold Pressed Sweet Almond Oil, Essential Oils of Tea Tree, Lavender, Frankincense, Lemon and Eucalyptus
This is my favorite product that I picked up! It's an oil-based acne spot treatment that comes in a rollerball applicator. I was pleasantly surprised and excited that it contained Frankincense oil since it's an expensive essential oil that is great for healing and protecting the skin cells.
Pros: I've been using it for a month now in the morning and evening and it does help relieve my acne and inflammation without drying out my skin. However, not all of my blemishes are completely gone since I breakout due to lack of sleep (ahh, I can't help it). I really like the scent and the clean ingredients!
Cons: I don't like that it comes in a rollerball applicator. It's not hygienic and even if I try to roll it on the back of my hand and then apply with my fingers, the oil gets absorbed into the back of my hand.
Ingredients: Goat Milk, Coconut Oil (Cocos Nucifera), Vegetable Oils, Palm Oils (Elaeis Guineensis), Corn (Zea Mays), Glycerin, Titanium Dioxide (Natural Color), Organic Rose Petals or Organic Calendula Leaves
I picked up the Rose Garden and two Lavender Calendula bar soaps since the goat milk is suppose to calm and relieve any skin irritation and I've been dealing with the rash that I got from my previous deodorant with baking soda.
Pros: Both smell heavenly! I personally just love floral-scented products so naturally I fell in love with these. I prefer the Lavender Calendula since it's not strongly scented as the Rose Garden. Also, both do a good job of soothing my rash a little. Most bar soaps dry out my skin but not this one!
Cons: The Rose Garden contains actual dried rose bud chunks so there was barely any soap. Also, when the Rose Garden dried up, it was very gooey in texture. I would say skip the Rose Garden one.
DIY Matcha Mint Masque, $18
Ingredients: Bentonite Clay, Organic Matcha Powder, Organic Peppermint Leaf
My friend was nice enough to let me borrow this and I wasn't sure what to expect from this. I personally don't like powder masks since it requires a bowl, water, and a mixing utensil, so it's not very convenient. I could go without this one.
Pros: It drew out most of my impurities. After using it for 10 minutes, I saw more acne coming out to the surface of my skin. It also smells very good, just like matcha green tea.
Cons: It tingles too much! Although I don't have sensitive skin, I feel like it's way too strong so I would recommend to water it down further.
Ingredients: Organic Cold Pressed Sweet Almond Oil, Organic Beeswax, Organic Cocoa Butter, Flavor Oil, Eucalyptus Essential Oil
They also offer a men's line, H.Life. I bought this for my boyfriend and also tried it out before giving it to him.
Pros: It smells good, just like matcha green tea. It's also completely matte!
Cons: It doesn't moisturize the lips and doesn't sink into the lips. It kind of just sits on top of the lips. The application isn't smooth either. Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I both think this doesn't do the job as a lip balm.
Thanks for reading! I'm also enjoying their Rose Body Lotion but unfortunately it's discontinued but they have body creams. Have you tried anything from Honey Belle or have any recommendations for local skincare shops?
