100% Pure Long Last Liquid Eye Liner Review
This is my non-toxic eyeliner so I was excited to see if this lived up to my conventional liquid eyeliner that I often reached for. Looking for all-natural liquid eyeliners was a bit tough because I'm used to a brush tip and pen style but all that was offered in the green beauty industry were pencil eyeliners and eyeliners with this type of bottle and a separate brush.
Ingredients: Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Camellia Sinensis (Organic Black Tea)* Leaf Extract, Vegetable Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis (Organic Aloe)* Leaf Juice, Xanthan Gum, Extracts of Origanum Vulgare (Oregano) Leaf, Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) Flower/Leaf and Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf, Mica, Extracts of Lonicera Caprifolium Flower, Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower and Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) * Certified Organic
The eyeliner is very pigmented and lasts a long time on the eyes despite the fact that I have extremely oily eyelids and watery eyes (I wear it over eyeshadow primer)! It's also safe for contact lens wearers. The color was also a nice, slightly shimmery, dark brown. I enjoy using dark brown eyeliners instead of black since it gives off a more effortless look.
|The brush is too long so I'm unable to draw steadily.|
The design of the brush itself is terrible! It's very unstable and difficult to use so I always used Anastasia's #12 brush to line my eyes with the product on the brush. Also, although the color itself is pigmented, if you go cover the same area that's already lined, it slightly removes the product. This is great for the eye line, however, flakes if you put it on the waterline.
Overall, this eyeliner has been great, especially for the hot summer days. Practice definitely made it easier and easier to apply the eyeliner with my Anastasia #12 brush. I hope they can redesign the package of the brush, though!
