Pacifica Lipsticks Review

Hello there! If you didn't know already, I'm obsessed with collecting lipsticks! I feel like there's just so many formulations and colors out there that I want to try and end up with a bunch of lippies in my collection. I was first intrigued by Pacifica lipsticks when I read that all of their lipsticks are free of carmine and artificial dyes and they offer a good selection of colors!

Devocean Natural Lipstick, $10

Ingredients: Oleic/linoleic/linolenic Polyglycerides (From Sunflower Oil), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Diiostearyl Malate, Caprylic/capric Triglyceride (From Coconut Oil), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Esters, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Euphorbia Chinensis (Candelilla) Wax, Cetyl Alcohol, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Flavor Oil (All Natural), Tocopherol (Vitamin E). May Contain: Melia Azadirachta Fruit Extract, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides, Tin Oxide, Vaccinium Macrocarpon Fruit (Cranberry) Extract, Coccinia Indica Flower Extract, Daucus Carota Sativa Root (Carrot) Extract, Lycopersicum Fruit (Tomato) Extract, And Beta Vulgaris (Beetroot) Extract.

I picked up the shade Firebird which is a bright, warm-toned red. This lipstick is a creamy lipstick with intense color payoff. It contains coconut oil, shea butter, and jojoba oil to nourish the lips and make them feel pillowy. It also leaves a shiny finish.

I usually apply it to the center of my lips and blend it out, creating a k-beauty inspired gradient lip. The longevity is amazing as well as it stains the lips and reapplies nicely without feeling cakey. If you plan to wear it all over the lips, it's best to use lip liner and a brush for better precision.

This lipstick is also vegan.

Power of Love Natural Lipstick, $10
Ingredients: Caprylic/capric Triglyceride (From Coconut Oil), Diiostearyl Malate (Plant), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Simmondisia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil/ Esters, Oleic/linoleic/linolenic Polyglycerides (Sunflower), Punica Granatun (Pomergranit) Sterols, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Coconut Flavor (All Natural), Plant Cellulose, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil.rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Tocopherol (Vitamin E). May Contain: Silica, Tin Oxide, Iron Oxides (Ci7742, Ci7749), Titanium Dioxide (Ci77891) , Mica (Ci77019), Melia Azadirachta Fruit Extract, Vaccinium Macrocarpon Fruit (Cranberry) Extract, Coccinia Indica Flower Extract, Beta Vulgaris (Beetroot) Extract.

The second lipstick in the shade Tender Heart (a light, nudey pink) was a gift from a dear friend of mine. This lipstick is completely matte with zero shine and zero creaminess. It tugs a bit when you apply it but boy does it last all day! It also contains nourishing ingredients like shea butter and jojoba oil so it doesn't make my lips feel too dry.

I wouldn't say it's nourishing but it's not too drying either for a matte lipstick but it will cling onto dry patches. Reapplication is a bit harder since it's a matte lipstick.

Overall, Pacifica has some great lipstick formulations at a great price range. I would definitely want to collect more colors from the Devocean line but I think the Power of Love line is too matte for my preference.
