Bare Bones Body Face Oil Review
Hi everyone! I'm back with another skincare review. I've been so busy and stressed with final exams the past two weeks but now I'm finally done with school. Be on the lookout for an exciting new project I'm working on (hint: it will involve more make up!).
I was gifted the all-organic Bare Bones Body Face Oil, which retails for $24.99, a few months ago and been using it frequently since then since I'm a big fan of facial oils. I love how Bare Bones Body contains only the minimal amount of ingredients and has affordable price points.
Hemp Seed Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Palma Rosa Essential Oil, Grapefruit Essential Oil (all ingredients are organic)
The Bare Bones Body Face Oil contains antioxidant-rich and anti-inflammatory ingredients to restore the skin's elasticity and hydration levels and to reduce acne and redness. The oil features hemp seed oil which is rich in fatty acids, vitamins A and E to hydrate, soothe, and calm acne-prone skin. Grape seed oil helps strengthen the skin and combats blemishes. Palma rosa and grapefruit essential oils also combat acne and keep the skin clear.
The texture of this oil is very lightweight and the scent is botanical and slightly citrusy because of the grapefruit essential oil. Compared to my trusty Acure Organics Marula Oil, this oil is very thin and absorbs quickly into the skin so this will be perfect for those of you with oily skin who are concerned about adding too much oil onto your skin. I love mixing this oil with other oils and water-based moisturizers, too!
- Sinks quickly into the skin
- Can be used as a moisturizer as well as a cleanser
- Combats acne and balances oil
- Refreshing scent
- Great for combination, normal, and oily skin types
- Since it's lightweight, it's not moisturizing enough for my skin during the colder, drier weather
Overall, I'm a fan of this facial oil and would highly recommend to those who struggle with acne. Let me know your thoughts on facial oils!
