Acure Organics Volume Shampoo & Conditioner Review

acure organics volume shampoo and conditioner review

Having naturally straight hair is nice because it's requires minimal styling and hair products, however, naturally straight hair has its downsides. My hair is extremely thin and also a bit frizzy (especially when exposed to humidity). On top of that, it's also very flat!

When I transitioned into green beauty, the first thing I easily swapped out was shampoo and conditioner. I actually knew I wanted to use natural hair products because my hair is thinning and I read that conventional hair products contained a lot of chemicals that can lead to hair loss. Just a little background on my hair: I used to have extremely color-damaged hair, but since I stopped bleaching my hair, it's been in pretty good health. And when I was younger, I use to pray for silky, soft hair because I guess my hair was pretty rough in the past (I seriously prayed about it everyday).

I picked up the Acure Organics Volume Shampoo and Conditioner (retails for $9.99 each) at my local Wholefoods and became hooked after the first wash! I'm a huge fan of Acure's Marula Oil and have tried their other skincare products so I decided to stick with them for my hair, too.

The volume line contains pure mint and echinacea stem cell to volumize, quinoa protein extract to moisturize, and rosehip extract to add back shine.

My hair feels and looks healthy! It's also quite soft but still a little frizzy in some areas.

I love these products and will continue to purchase them! What's your favorite shampoo and conditioner?
