My Latest Obsession: Innersense Organic Beauty

Beauty Heroes Discovery Innersense Organic Beauty Hairbath Shampoo Conditioner Natural Nontoxic hellolindasau
Happy May! I've become so obsessed with Beauty Heroes' March 2017 Beauty Discovery featuring Innersense Organic Beauty's hair care and have been using it on a daily basis since. Note: I rarely use something on a consistent basis because I'm often trying new products so that signifies... love.

The great thing about Innersense Organic Beauty is that they source high-quality, organic ingredients ethically and empower their customers to practice self-care by implementing the "Hair Ceremonies" as a daily ritual. When I received this in the March Beauty Heroes box I was sooo ready to jump in the shower and pamper myself.

Plus, they recently redesigned their entire brand—isn't the minimal design so pretty?

Also, I would describe my hair as flat, thin, brittle, frizzy, and oily. It's not too dry since I chopped off the color-treated parts and am now embracing my natural hair color but it gets very oily if I don't wash it the next day.

This shampoo is supposed to deliver salon quality results and contains a ton of nourishing ingredients like avocado, coconut, and shea butter. It's meant to transform dry, frizzy hair and balance the oil of the scalp. It has a light, pleasant scent that reminds me of orange cream soda (the conditioner smells like that too)!

I am quite impressed with the thick, frothy texture of this shampoo—the creamy texture lathers and foams up luxuriously with little effort. And I must say, I agree that this shampoo is comparable to salon products! Most natural shampoos are very watery but this one is super creamy.

Like the shampoo, this conditioner is formulated with a majority of the same moisturizing ingredients and has a thick, creamy texture. It actually feels like a body cream.

It pairs really well with the shampoo and locks in the hydration—leaving my hair soft and silky feeling. It doesn't weigh down my hair or make it feel or look oily at the end of the day.

Beauty Heroes Innersense Organic Beauty Leave In Conditioner Natural Safe hellolindasau
Sweet Spirit Leave-In Conditioner, $24 for 10 oz
Ingredients: Water, Aqua- EAU, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Gel*1, Behentrimonium, Methosulfate2, Glycerin4, Rice Amino Acids*, Hydrolyzed Rice Protein*, Nelumbiaum Speciosum (Lotus) Flower Oil*, Citrus Sinensis Peel Oil*9, Caprylic Triglyceride, Calophyllum Tacamahaca Seed Oil3, Rosemarium Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract* Agropyron (Wheatgrass) Extract*, Honey Extract*, Cinnamomum Zelyanicum Bark Extract*, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Extract*, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Extract*, Hydrastis Canadensis (Golden Seal) Root Extract*, Thymus Valgaris (Thyme) Extract**, Nelumbium Specoisum (Lotus) Flower Extract*, Plumeria Alba Flower Extract5, Aspalathus Linearis Extract6**, Cymbopogon Schoenan-thus Extract7*, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Seed Oil*, Echinacea Angustifolio Extract8**, Origanum Vulgare Leaf Extract9**, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate *Organic **Certified Organic

I typically stray away from leave-in conditioners as they often leave my hair feeling too oily and weighed down but this is like no other. Besides the pretty sweet orange blossom scent, it contains aloe vera, lotus flower, cranberry, and honey to soften and detangle.

The lightweight texture absorbs into my wet hair after shampooing and conditioning. I pump a dime-size of product onto my hands then apply to my hair everyday (unless I forget) in the morning and allow my hair to air dry while driving to work. It usually takes an hour to get to work and for my short hair to completely air dry.

I notice a huge difference with this! When I don't use it, whether I'm going to air dry or blow dry my hair, my hair feels rough and frizzy. My hair feels softer and more manageable when I apply a little on the ends of my hair. It also helps calm down the fly aways on the top of my head when I apply the remaining product left on my palms.

Final Thoughts
I'm extremely impressed with Innersense! Since discovering Innersense, I always look forward to washing and treating my hair! I am definitely going to repurchase the shampoo, conditioner, AND the leave-in conditioner once I'm done with what I have.

The 10 oz bottles of the Innersense shampoo and conditioner retail for $28-$30 per bottle and last such a long time (I think it'll last me until the end of August?). Both the shampoo and conditioner have a rich, frothy texture, which means less product is required per wash. I use less of the leave-in conditioner so it will last me even longer. And because of that, I think their worth the price.

P.S. Thanks to Kevin who helped press the button to capture these images while I was blowing bubbles, lol.

  1. I feel like I should be trying out different hair products because there IS more to the world than just Herbal Essence. For sure, it's not the best product either. I like how these haircare products are made of organic ingredients. You're treating your hair with care. Minimal design is always pretty! You send a bigger message with less.

Glad you liked these two products! It's good that the product is longer-lasting because more can be done with a smaller drop.

I am so digging your flatlay! Look too legit with the bottles on top of foam!

    1. You should hop into Wholefoods or Sprouts if you're looking for some cleaner alternatives from Herbal Essences! Aside from Innersense, I would still go for the Acure Organics option! :)
