Vapour Organic Beauty Halo Illuminator Review

Lately I've been obsessed with the dewy, shiny highlight on models' cheekbones—especially since following, Jenn Collins, an exceptionally talented beauty photographer.
To achieve the look, there's no doubt that the makeup artists skip on powder highlighters since it gives a dry, sometimes chalky, finish. My go-to highlighter to achieve the look is Vapour Organic Beauty's Illuminator in Halo. Halo is a beautiful pinky-toned metallic shade that leaves a luminous finish without accentuating any pores, lines, or dryness. This is a sample-sized product but the full size retails for $36.00.
Honestly, Vapour is quickly becoming one of my favorite makeup brands because their products don't break me out! I have sensitive, acne-prone skin so it's hard for me to find cream products that cooperate with my skin. No coconut ingredients here!
I like to use a brush to pick up the product and apply directly onto my cheeks for a natural sheen on a daily basis. When I want a more dramatic highlight, I swipe the product directly onto my cheeks and blend out with a brush.

Ingredients: Organic Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Organic Cera Alba (Beeswax), Mica, Silica, Castor Isostearate Beeswax Succinate*, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E), Solanum Lycopersicum (Tomato) Fruit/Leaf/Stem Extract, Canarium Luzonicum (Elemi) Gum Nonvolatiles, Wildcrafted Commiphora Myrrha (Myrrh) Gum Oil, Wildcrafted Boswellia Carteri (Frankincense) Gum, Organic Ocimum Sanctum (Tulsi/Holy Basil) Leaf Extract, Organic Nelumbo Nucifera (Lotus) Leaf Extract, Pogostemon Cablin Oil [+/-: Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, 77492, 77499), Carmine (CI 75470)] *Eco-cert

I didn't know highlighting cheekbones is a thing! I love how the illuminator looks, you get that shiny feel without it being too excessive. Glad to see this product being compatible with you! That marble diamond in the background looks legit ;).

It's been my top favorite highlighter so far!
DeleteOoh, this product looks like it'd be amazing for me as I have sensitive skin. I've lately simply been using shiny eye shadow colours as my highlighter, which works, but I've been trying to find something that would be less damaging on my skin! I love how this highlight looks so natural~ I might just get this a try once I start working in the fall! ^^
