Seraphine Botanicals Chia + Camellia Eyeshadow Palette Review

Seraphine Botanicals Chia + Camellia Eyeshadow Palette Review natural green beauty non-nano makeup hellolindasau

Finding a pressed eyeshadow palette that performs as good as it looks is pretty difficult in the green beauty world. When I saw a few green beauty Instagram users posting about the beautiful, pinky nude eyeshadow palette from Seraphine Botanicals, my jaws dropped. It looks like conventional makeup and reminds me of Tarte's eyeshadow palettes.

The Chia + Camellia Eyeshadow Palette retails for $52.00 and contains a total of 9 non-nano shades. There are a few mattes and a lot of shimmers! I love the collection of colors because they're wearable for everyday.

Ingredients: Talc**, Mica**, Magnesium Myristate**, Silica**, Kaolin**, Ethylhexyl Palmitate**, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Oil*, Salvia Hispanica (Chia) Seed Oil*, Sorbic Acid**. [+/- (May Contain/peut Contenir) Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891)**, Iron Oxides (CI 77491, Ci 77492, CI 77499)**] *Vegetable-Derived **Natural Origin

The packaging itself is sleek and easy to open. However, I noticed when I close the palette really fast, the pressed shadows start to fall apart a little—it's nothing major but the shadows are very fragile compared to the Lily Lolo Eye Palette.

In terms of pigmentation and wear, the shadows have great color payoff and wear time with an eyeshadow primer (my eyelids are very oily so I have to use primer). All of the shadows blend nicely as well!

Overall, I really enjoy this palette. There are so many different eye looks I can create with this and I'm feeling inspired to try something new each day!

  2. You always have the most stunning photography! That's a bit concerning that they're prone to breaking if you shut the lid too quickly. I know that's something I'm very absent minded about. I think it's somewhat of a miracle that I have yet to shatter any eyeshadow palettes XD The swatches look beautiful! Looks like a solid everyday type of palette :)
