S.W. Basics Exfoliant Review

If you didn't know by now, I love S.W. Basics because of their minimalist ingredients list so don't be surprised that I'm reviewing yet another product from their line. Before summer started I knew I wanted to keep my skin feeling fresh and looking clear so I went with the Exfoliant (retails for $19.99) to slough off dead skin cells.
Ingredients: Organic Oat Flour, Organic Almond Flour, Sea Salt

This exfoliant is made with only 3 ingredients to brighten and soften the skin. I've actually been looking for a skincare product with oat as an ingredient as it helps combat redness and inflammation.
Pros
- Smells very pleasant
- Removes dead skin cells very well
- Leaves the skin feeling baby soft
- Calms down the overall redness of my skin
Cons
- The texture of this exfoliant doesn't look like what's shown on their website—the photos on the website make the exfoliant seem finer and more like a powder whereas mine looks like there's huge chunks of oats and salts?
- The exfoliant is bit rough but I think I may have gotten a bad batch
- The sea salt stings my dry lips and some acne spots

Have you seen S.W. Basics at your local Target? That's how I discovered them!
S.W. Basics did really well with their exfoliant with just three ingredients!! It's unfortunate that the texture of the product wasn't what you were expecting. I need to go check them out at Target! I love how they're throwing shade with their "Sorry, no plastic micro-bead technology inside"!
